Marketing Assistant

A leading UK media and events business is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to gain hands-on experience across a portfolio of well-established digital and print publications within the design, interiors and architecture space.

You’ll be working across multiple brands, supporting the delivery of creative and data-driven marketing campaigns, with real exposure to content, social, email and digital performance.

The Role
You’ll support the wider marketing team across a range of publishing brands, helping to drive audience growth, engagement and content distribution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing social media campaigns across multiple brands
  • Creating and distributing engaging content across web, email and social channels
  • Managing website updates and liaising with external suppliers
  • Tracking and analysing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations
  • Supporting email marketing campaigns, including reporting and optimisation
  • Assisting with online content and weekly newsletters

The Brands
You’ll be working across a portfolio of established publications covering home interest, interiors, architecture and commercial design, across both digital and print platforms.

About You

  • Degree educated in Marketing or a related field
  • Organised, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Confident communicator with strong written skills
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A genuine interest in digital/content marketing

Desirable:

  • Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with email platforms and CMS systems
  • Previous internship or placement experience in marketing
  • Interest in design, interiors or architecture
